Fashion Friday Plus Size - Week #6

The last few weeks have flown by and whilst I haven't had time to take pics and write about it I have been following #FashionFridayPlusSize and I have also been very excited for September's #NYNYStyleProject prompts over on Instagram. 

Both have really made me look at what I am wearing and on non-clinical days have encouraged me make an effort at work as well as on my days off at home... I think I am beginning to find my style again! I just now need to feel physically comfortable in my clothing and aim for the lower end of the double dress sizes - but that's a blog for another day... 

Here is my chosen outfit of the week, which encompassed the style prompt of Black Boots... 


1. Black longline cardigan - Next 
2. Black and White flecked skater dress - Primark
3. Black leggings (hidden out of picture) - New Look
4. Black wedge heel ankle boots - New Look

(which later got replaced by black ballet pumps as I wasn't comfortable driving in them) 

Finished off with my black and white animal print glasses and aztec bag... I seemed to go monochrome! 

There are some fab style prompts this month - I am so excited to rediscover what I have in my wardrobe and to try new things out!

A stone lighter... Onwards and downwards!

I finally shifted the pesky pound which has thwarted me all week. So it is onto the next stone, this time I am allowing myself 50 days to lose it in, which equates to 2lb a week. According to Dr Dukan, this is a reasonable target given the amount of weight I have left to lose. (I promise after the next stone is gone I will reveal all - that's if you want to know?) As I get closer I will lower my weekly target to 1lb, as I full expect it to take longer to shift the lighter I get and I am ok with this. As I hope it will give me chance to firm up, something which is much needed! Especially my tummy. Sorry to keep it short and sweet but I must now go get little man's breakfast ready, but had to share my joy whilst he was occupied with Daddy.

Exante - Day 1

Day 1: This is where I currently am - 120kg, dress size 20/22. The top picture is why I am doing this - my little man. I want more energy to play with him, I want to take a ball to the park and kick it around without as much pain.My weight isn't helping my M.E. and it is causing me to snore so much that D is sleeping most nights in the lounge! 😱 The only way I am going to do all this is by kicking myself up the arse, stop procrastinating and turning to food when I am happy, sad or just because! No more little treats because I deserve it... those little treats have mounted up in lbs!! As well as £s which could be being saved for something better!  I've given myself a good talking too (someone's got too) and for once I have listened. I am still an avid believer that Slimming World is the correct forever path for a healthy lifestyle change but personally I know I currently need something where there are stronger limits to start with.
